"Providing Hometown Reliability"
The water quality from our ground wells is very high; however, it does contain calcium and magnesium that make the water "hard." Also, the water contains high levels of iron. Once pumped from the ground to the Water Treatment Plant, the water is first aerated to remove the iron. We currently have two aerators. One was installed in 1963 and the other in 1977. They both have a capacity of 2,800 gpm.
