"Providing Hometown Reliability"
In the Electric Distribution Department, our mission is to provide reliable and dependable service and ensure safety, all in the best interest of our customers, and good working relations with neighboring power companies.
Marshall's electric distribution system includes over 25 circuit miles of 161,000 volt transmission line, 86 circuit miles of overhead distribution under 22kV and 3 circuit miles of underground distribution under 22kV. Our system also includes 6,137 meters, three 161/13.2 substations, five lower voltage substations, and 1,986 street lights.
We know that keeping your electric rates as low as possible, while still maintaining quality and reliable service, is important to you. Our rates are competitive in Missouri and significantly lower than the national average. Also, we have crews on call 24 hours a day, ready to restore service in any emergency.
There is now an easy way to report any electrical problem in Marshall that our crews need to look into. Our problem report form can be filled out online and can automatically be emailed to us with details of the problem. You can report things such as street lights not working, tree limbs in power lines, or any other potentially dangerous situation. Remember, if the problem you want to report poses an immediate danger, call us at 886-6966 for a quick response!
