At all points in the area served by Marshall Municipal Utilities where facilities of adequate capacity and the required phase and suitable voltage are adjacent to the premises to be served.
Electric service to customers served under the Small General Service rate will automatically be classified to the Large General Service rate if monthly demand is 100 kW or greater for the month of MMU's peak summer season month of the 12-month period ended with the current billing month.
Three phase, 60 cycles, at one of the standard secondary service voltages as approved by the Electric Department.

The Billing Demand shall be determined by measurement and shall be the average kW demand during the 15-minute period of maximum kWh use during the billing month, but shall not be less than 80 percent of the maximum demand for the month of MMU's peak month of defined summer season of the 12 month period ended with the current billing month.
When a customer has permanently installed electric heat/heat pump equipment which is the sole means of comfort heating, the rate per kWh, for the winter season, will be $0.05 per kWh for all kWh in excess of the 80% maximum kWh used during the maximum month usage of the summer season of the prior calendar year. All kW Demand in the winter season in excess of the maximum kW Billing Demand used during the maximum month usage of the summer season of the prior calendar year shall be billed at 50% ($0.0625) of the posted winter season demand rate. This rate does not apply during the subsequent winter season to new customers who were connected to the Department's system, or who have added additional load other than space heating equipment, since the preceding summer season.
Where service to a customer is measured at primary distribution voltage, the measured demand and energy will be decreased 2 percent for billing purposes.
Customer shall at all times maintain a power factor of not less than 90 percent lagging. If a customer's power factor is less than 90 percent lagging and the customer does not expeditiously take corrective action, the City can, at its option, discontinue service or charge the customer an amount equal to 150 percent of the actual or estimated total cost (including material, labor, equipment and overhead expense) to install the necessary corrective equipment on the City's lines to improve the customer's power at least 90 percent. Such charge also provides for the cost of future maintenance and replacement equipment.
Electric Service under this schedule is subject to all rules and regulations approved by the Board of Public Works of Marshall, Missouri.
If an Industrial customer who provides his own transformer and related equipment is reclassified to the Large General Service Schedule, the customer shall be given a monthly credit of $0.20 per KVA.
